Jonathan LeVine Projects promotes innovative, boundary-pushing art. Founded from LeVine’s roots in punk and underground culture, the gallery began in 2005 in Chelsea and later moved to Jersey City in 2017, expanding its focus on community and collaborative programs. Today it explores the space between high and low culture while staying connected to Post-War art history.

Jonathan LeVine Projects champions new and boundary-pushing art. Emerging from LeVine’s early roots in punk and underground culture, his curatorial work began in 1995 and evolved into the opening of Jonathan LeVine Gallery in Chelsea in 2005, where he helped launch many notable artists.

In 2017, the gallery moved to Jersey City with a renewed focus on community and collaboration. Now operating as Jonathan LeVine Projects, it develops dynamic programs and partnerships beyond the traditional gallery model, while staying connected to the legacy of Post-War art and the fertile space between high and low culture.
